The new Nitecore P20iX flashlight provides 4000 lm Invincible Quad-Core Performance. Utilizing 4 x CREE XP-L2 V6 LEDs, the P20iX has a max output of 4,000 lumens, a max throw of 221m and a peak beam intensity of 12,200cd.
With independently controlled Quadruple LEDs, the P20iX is powered by a constant current circuit to provide a durable usage with guaranteed safety.
Due to its low internal resistance, the included 21700i Series Battery provides highly efficient output. Moreover, the battery offers dual polarity output at both ends and a high energy density.
Nitecore P20iX is ideal for law enforcement, assault operations, self defence, and search and patrol.

I use this for mostly distances that are closer than 20 feet away. Extremely bright. It lights up everything with its flood pattern. This is my duty light as a law enforcement officer. I would recommend buying something else to attach it to a duty belt other than what comes with it. I have had several lights in the past 15 years. I own Surefire lights, streamlights, pelican lights and have 5 different nitecore lights. Nitecore is right up there with all of those brands in terms of quality. Nitecore tends to have a lot better options at a more reasonable cost. Great lights.

I am not a flashlight expert. But I bought this to walk my dog, and it is great. The strobe feature is seriously disorienting and probably as good a defensive weapon as anything available.
I read a lot about the heat, and haven’t been bothered by it. I do miss the ability to focus the beam, but it is bright enough for me.
