Morakniv Pathfinder features an extra long and thick blade, the special coating and the heavy-duty nylon sheath. Of course, Morakniv Pathfinder comes with the highest quality carbon steel blade that is treated according to Mora’s secret company recipe in their factory in Mora. High carbon steels are preferred in applications that demand durability and frequent regrinding. The material is harder than stainless steel, allowing it to hold sharp and durable acute edge.
The Morakniv Pathfinder is one of the sturdiest and largest outdoor knives Mora has ever offered. The razor sharp, 171 mm extra-long and 3.2 mm thick high carbon steel blade is treated with a protective tungsten DLC anti-corrosive coating that also provides a distinctive black look. The 6.75-inch blade is the longest in the Morakniv bushcraft knife family and is particularly well-suited for bushcraft survival applications. The 90-degree spine of the blade has also been specially ground for use with a fire starter and for making tinder shavings.
Moreover, a double-molded rubber handle features an ergonomic design providing comfort and durability, finger protection, and ant-slip performance. The Morakniv Pathfinder includes a heavy-duty Nylon MOLLE-compatible sheath reinforced with plastic and secured with a snap closure.

In the beginning Frost-Erik only made knives for use within the factory, but production would soon start to grow. The term Morakniv was already well known at the end of the 1900’s, due to the area’s long tradition of manufacturing. Knives from Mora had made their way to users around the country by travelling tradesmen, or through bartering. With the founding of the factory, production could grow and more and more knives could be delivered across Sweden and the world.
