The Special Forces Shovel from Cold Steel is modeled after the original Soviet Spetznaz shovel. The Spetznaz soildiers made up the most elite unit in the Soviet Army. This tactical shovel features a black-coated medium grade carbon steel head and socket that has been heat treated for maximum strength. The edges come sharpened to an utility/ax edge that can be easily improved to razor sharpness. Hardwood handle. This shovel is designed to be used in any tactical situation.
